We have sat as a team and put that little bit of extra thought into this section, providing answers to everything you need to know about your stay with us.
Is there wifi in the properties?
We offer FREE standard internet access for guests up to 4MB.
Further charges apply for guests requiring greater speed:
High Speed - up to 16MB - £5/£10/£15 for 1/3/7 nights respectively
Super Speed - up to 64MB - £10/£20/£30 for 1/3/7 nights respectively NB - Charges are per internet device.
What is provided in the cost of our stay?
All linen and towels are provided in lodges and suites. If you are staying in a lodge then you will also find dressing gowns in the double rooms.
We recommend that you bring beach towels to use in the swimming pool - Pool Towels can be hired from the leisure club for a charge of £2 per towel.
Free Leisure facilities - Complimentary use of the indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room.
Complimentary use of playstation zone in Driftwood Lounge
Free use of Playground and DVD borrow.
Is there a TV/DVD/Sky in the rooms & DVD Hire?
All of the houses and apartments have use of a DVD player.
All lounges have TV with free view and sky channels - Sky 1 (not in all properties),Sky Atlantic (not in all properties), Sky Sports, 1&2 Sky, Cinema Family HD, Sky Cinema, Action HD, Disney Junior (not in all properties), Nickelodeon.
Many styles of lodges/apartments have TVs in the bedrooms - Please check the description of the accommodation you have booked.
Complimentary DVD borrow is available at reception that you can use free of charge.
Baby friendly properties
We are extremely proud of the quality of our baby friendly equipment - every baby friendly lodge includes roll out stair gates both at the top and bottom of each staircase. These properties must be requested at the time of booking and are on a first come first served basis.
We warmly welcome dogs to specified 'Dog Friendly' lodges and apartments ( to respect those with allergies ect) Dogs are charged at £40.00 each and we respectively request no more than 2 in 1/2 bedroom properties and 4 in larger lodges. If damage/further cleaning is required we reserve the right to contact for payment in this area. The Dangerous Dog Act is adhered to at Retallack Resort where a small number of breeds are not permitted - The list can be found on our dogs page.
Can I park outside my property?
All lodges and apartments have parking at the property.
The 2 bedroom houses have 1 parking space and the 4 bed houses have 2 spaces.
A car park is adjacent to the Apartments/Suites.
Should you have any additional cars you are able to leave these in our FlowRider/Playground car park.
All of our houses/apartments are non-smoking.Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only excluding outside of the reception building in respect of other guests/children.
What time is check in/Check out?
Check in is from 4pm for lodges and 3pm for one bedroom apartments.
Check out is 10am for lodges and 11am for one bedroom apartments.
Will a security deposit be charged?
A security deposit of £250 per lodge and £75 per apartment will be charged to a credit or debit card on arrival. This is to cover any damages or losses to the property that may be caused by you or your party during your stay.
What do we do when we arrive at Retallack Resort?
Welcome! Check-in is at the reception, with a warm welcome we will show you where your accommodation is on the map, and provide you with your welcome pack and keys. We are always on hand at the reception 7 days to help you with any part of your stay.
What facilities can we use if I arrive early?
Should you arrive earlier than 4pm, we welcome all our guests to start their break straightaway, why not take a dip in the pool, book into the FlowRider or Wakepark, dine in our restaurant. For children there is the playground or take a walk to our resort beach and enjoy the woodland walks around the lakes.
How late can we check -in?
Our reception is open 24 hrs a day, after 9pm our night porter will attend to your check-in. There will be a map included in the pack showing where your house is along with your keys.
I booked the holiday but my other party members will be arriving before me will they be able to check in?
The other members of your party will be able to check in before you, we would ask the lead party member to have made us aware of this or we will call to confirm this on the day. However, the keys can not be released for the property until the security deposit has been paid - this can be completed over the phone on the day of arrival if preferred.
Can I chose to book a specific house/location?
If you would like a specific house/location then we will endeavor to ensure that your needs are met however we are unable to guarantee this, please call the reservations department to discuss your needs.
Upon booking, should your arrival date be more than 8 weeks away we require a non-refundable 25% deposit and the remaining balance would be due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If you book with less than 8 weeks to arrival then the full balance is due at the time of booking.
Should you wish to cancel, all deposits paid are non-refundable. If you cancel between 4 and 8 weeks prior to arrival then 50% of the booking value is refunded. If you cancel within less than 4 weeks to arrival then the full balance of the booking will be forfeited.
Can I book a nanny / babysitter / nursery nurse?
To book your babysitter for children from 3 months old email firstname.lastname@example.org We have a team of dedicated nannies/babysitters who have worked with Retallack for years, all CRB checked & full time day nannies.
Resort shop, nearby supermarket and online deliveries
Our Retallack Essentials on-site shop stocks a range of essentials such as bread, milk and a variety of Cornish gifts.
Tesco is in Wadebridge and Padstow, just a 10 minute drive from the Resort.
For online food deliveries - Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's or Waitrose all deliver to Retallack Resort.
Do we need to book to use the Watersports or Spa?
Pre-booking is highly recommended as they are usually booked at least 7-14 days in advance.
Are there times when children can't use the pool?
To increase the enjoyment for all, we offer adult only swim times every day - 7.00am-8.30am and 7.30pm-9pm (Mon-Fri) & 8.00am-8.30am and 7.30pm-9pm (Sat/Sun).
We offer aqua aerobics 5 times a week when the pool is closed to those not taking part - please see the latest fitness timetable for days and times. Adults can join in these classes for £5.00.
Fitness Class charges and Personal Training
A superb range of fitness classes are available and charged at £5 each. These can be booked within 7 days prior to your arrival. We also highly recommend the 5K resort run or alternatively book one of our expert personal trainers from just £25.
Do you provide towels at the indoor pool?
There is a charge of £2 per towel.
