Halloween 2019 at The Bay Filey

There is always lots going on in Yorkshire and during half term it is no different. Everything from witches to zombies will be out in force with several events taking place across Yorkshire and we will be grabbing our broomsticks and polishing our cauldrons here at The Bay Filey.

So head over to Yorkshire this half term (19 Oct - 5 Nov) and you will be guaranteed a range of family friendly events that will entertain, scare and amuse the whole family.

The emphasis is very much on fun for your half term getaway at The Bay Filey this Halloween and we will help you get into the spirit, you won’t be disappointed – whatever your age! We have a great assortment of activities throughout the autumn break, but the main events are on 24 and 31 October – the best nights of the year here on the beautiful Yorkshire coast.

Our leisure team are hosting a variety of pop up sessions including pumpkin carving and other creepy crafts to get everyone in the mood for the onset of darkness when the real fun starts. The entire village centre will be transformed into a Halloween extravaganza, complete with Addams family lookalikes to bring you plenty of tricks and treats on this night like no other.

On the stroke of 5pm, bring the children along to a fancy-dress party at The John Paul Jones where they can enjoy Monster Mash musical bumps, prizes for the best Halloween costume, face painting and a drop of our delicious bug juice and swamp water punch.

The brave ones can even go through the door of darkness to enter our haunted maze, complete with spooky lighting, mirrors, dry ice, actors and things that go bump in the night.

At 6pm, all are invited to join us on the ‘trail of the lost lake’. Follow the clues, find sweet treats and don’t be scared!

Over the half term break there will also be a selection of pop-up sports sessions and activities such a balloon artists, face painting and cookie baking, so make sure you book your activities before you arrive.
