When is the Isle of Wight Festival 2019?
The 2019 festival takes place from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 June, a short bus ride away from Rookley Park. The Isle of Wight Festival is one of the biggest and most popular music festivals in the UK, bringing nearly 100k guests to the island in 2017. Previously featuring artists like The Who, Queen, Rod Stewart, Arcade Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Pharrell Williams, and more, the Isle of Wight Festival is an unforgettable weekend that you won't want to miss.
Travelling to the Festival
From The Lakes Rookley it’s just 11 minutes by car to Seaclose Park - you can buy parking in advance with your festival ticket. Both St Helens Coastal Resort in the east and The Bay Colwell in the west are about a 25 minute car journey from the festival grounds.
Southern Vectis number 3 bus takes 20 minutes every 30 minutes from the resort entrance at The Lakes Rookley, to the centre of Newport, then it's a 15 minute walk to Seaclose Park.
Where is the Isle of Wight Festival 2019?
The 2019 Isle of Wight Festival will be held at Seaclose Park, Newport, just 15 minutes’ walk from the bus station. You can catch a bus from any Isle of Wight port except Fishbourne to the festival ground. From the end of the Festival on the Sunday until midday on Monday, the Isle of Wight bus company (Southern Vectis) will be running return Festival shuttles back to all ferry ports to connect with all departing ferries.
