The Hidden Beauty of South Devon
Discover the Spectacular Devon Coast
Traversing the length of the Southwest peninsula, the 630 miles South West Coast Path is one of the longest walking routes in the world and perhaps one of the most beautiful. Gara Rock is located just yards from the path and this destination is popular with hikers, dog walkers and families heading down to the beach at the foot of the cliffs.
This stretch of coastline is in some parts a challenging route, with long climbs and rugged terrain, but it is also renowned as one of the most stunning parts of the route. With hidden sandy coves, striking rock formations and ancient stone walls criss-crossing the landscape, it is worth exploring on foot and a perfect destination for dog-walkers, with miles of open land where dogs can be let off their lead.
