15TH - 24TH JUNE
Nominated for Best Family Event in last year's What's On Cornwall awards, the Penzance community celebration is packed with music, performing arts and theatre!
Mazey Day is the centrepiece of the festival, in which artists, schools and other community groups fill the streets with music and giant sculptures in a series of parades.
MEVAGISSEY FEAST WEEK
24TH - 30TH JUNE
This family-friendly festival, thought to be the longest surviving in Cornwall, owes its success to the way that it brings the whole community together and welcomes hundreds of visitors to share in its unique celebrations.
With crab catching on the harbour, fishing boat races, a ceilidh and a colourful carnival!
LIVE IN THE WYLDES
Nestled in a hidden, wooded valley in North Cornwall, the Live in The Wyldes music extravaganza returns this Summer, kicked off by Paloma Faith.
It's a completely unique event site that also offers wedding and post-show camping!
ST ITHIANS SHOW
Enjoy a taste of traditional, rural Cornish life with a day of demonstrations, animals, vintage vehicles, crafts and foodie stalls!
There's something for all the family and it's just a short half an hour drive from Retallack Resort and Spa.
3RD - 4TH AUGUST
Cornwall's biggest motoring event is back and bigger than ever! Set in 60 acres around half an hour from Retallack Resort and Spa, MotorFest 2018 offers a fun-filled day out for petrol-heads and families alike.
With new and used cars to buy, stunt shows and live music!
8TH - 13TH AUGUST
A Cornish classic. Five days of live music, surf and beach life set on one of the UK's most beautiful beaches, Fistral, in nearby Newquay.
The amazing live line-up includes George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers, Years & Years, Lily Allen and Craig David!
10TH - 19TH AUGUST
With its origins in a local sailing regatta dating back to 1837, the event has grown into a week of shoreside daytime and evening attractions, while on the water it's still one of the South West's major sailing competitions.
Includes a display from the Red Arrows on Tuesday 14th!
