The best attractions in North/East Cornwall

Some of the UK’s finest beaches are located just a few miles from our Cornish resorts, stretching for miles along a rugged and beautiful landscape. Popular with families and surfers alike, they are a ‘must’ for any Cornish holiday. Set just inside the Camel Estuary near St. Columb, the picturesque town of Padstow is a short drive from the Resort, boasting gastronomic delights such as Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth’s Number 6, the town is a foodie’s paradise. From here, catch the foot ferry across to the neighbouring town of Rock. Protected by a headland, Rock is a boating paradise and popular with royalty and the rich and famous. Click here for an essential guide to Rock.

Slightly further afield…

If you venture up the coast you will arrive at the surf haven of Polzeath, a spectacular beach with a waterfront restaurant and a host of surf stores. Slightly further afield is the stunning fishing village of Port Isaac, now well known thanks to the ‘Doc Martin’ television series.

Beautiful beaches and magnificent coastline notwithstanding, there is plenty to do in Cornwall and, at Aria Resorts, nowhere is very far away.
